SYNOPSIS
I love him, from the instant I set eyes on him when I was just 11 years old I have loved him and nothing will ever change that, he owns me, he owns my heart and he owns my body and no matter how many lies are told, no matter how many people conspire to keep us apart, despite the fame and the distance, we will find a way.

"Georgia Rae, when we made love you used to cry" ... He waits for me to sing my bit. I try to swallow down a sob but I just end up singing through it...
"I said I love you like the stars above, I'll love you till I die"

Carnage is an edgy coming of age love story that breaks all the rules and transcends the decades. Georgia and Sean's story will stay with you long after you read the final word.
An emotional, smoking hot, gut wrenching read.

This is part #1 of a 2 part story but can be read as a stand alone.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I am a born and raised Essex girl now living on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, just outside of Melbourne Australia, I moved here with my husband and three sons in 2006.
Not only do I love to write but I also love to read and can devour a book overnight if the story grabs me. I love watching my sons play football and am very partial to a glass of wine, a nicely chilled Marlborough Sav Blanc being my favourite.

CARISSA'S REVIEW
6 plus Lesley Jones - Freaking Amazing author Stars
Let me firstly say to all persons reading this. Be warned, this is not a typical love story. Some of you may hate certain elements of this book. Just be open minded and understand, life happens. We deal with it and we move on.
You are imperfect, permanently and inevitably flawed. And you are beautiful.

First love never dies, it never fades, it transcends time. It shows us all, that its better to love and lose than to have never loved at all.
Georgia Rae Layton, Gia as she is fondly called, meets Sean McCarthy at the tender age of eleven years old, flashing her pink knickers, whilst hanging upside down on the monkey bars.

"I love him, from the instant I set eyes on him"

Gia is the baby in a family of boys. She's  a strong willed, feisty, spoilt, opinionated, hasty and Sexy as Sin, all wrapped in a tight little package. Her brothers have started a boy band, Carnage, and they are holding auditions for a new lead singer and guitarist. This Hellcat soon meets her match.
Sean is the new singer and guitarist for the boy band Carnage and he's her brother, Marley's, best friend. Sean's sexy and ripped, with the Rock Star persona. He's jealous as hell and every girl wants him. So what's keeping him back from all theses gals chasing him. A certain blue eyed devil is who. One girl, one woman, his love, his life.

"I'm a one woman type of bloke and I love my girl."

"Frank, Bernie... I know we're young but I need you to know, that from the first moment I laid eyes on your daughter, I've been a little bit in love with her," Sean.

"I'm fifteen years old, he's seventeen and there's nothing we don't know about love and life, we have it all worked out... We have a connection that no one else understands, we know that other people think we're just a couple of kids and we know how wrong they are."

Carnage skyrockets to success as the years fly by and with all the fame and fortune, their strength and commitment is tested. Love, lies, secrets, betrayal and deceit. Relationships become strained, family bonds and friendships are tested. Thorn apart. due to inconsolable and gut wrenching pain, that keeps two lovers away from each for years to come.
One mistake, a single error in judgement, starts the ripple effect for years of pain and suffering.
" It's done, we're over, he can go and live the life he's been dreaming of and working so hard for all these years, he's let me down and I don't trust him, I don't want to see him again,"
After years of a self imposed isolation dealing with her heart ache and pain, and bouts of depression, Georgia, finally "mans up" and heads out for some fun. Well, let me say, I will surely take this kind of fun anytime she needs a girlfriend to be her side kick. She meets Cameron King. The jaw dropping gorgeous, sex on a stick, scrumptious older man. My panties were soaked at this point in time. I mean come on ladies, Mr. TDH. Drool, dribble, I don't care, but the man was to die for.
"My heart gave a little judder,"

"he smiled, very slightly at me with his soft full lips and once again, my heart stopped for a split second and then picked up its rhythm in my chest."
"I felt the stirrings of desire, deep down in my belly and I knew that I had to stay away from this man; because there was no way that I would ever get involved with anyone who stirred that kind of reaction in me again. Ever."
Life has a strange way of giving you exactly what you think you do not need.
"Come here," he orders -Cam
"Please," I say.
"Come.The. Fuck. Here..."
Hell fuckin' yes!!!!

“Do it then,” I grind into him as I speak.
“Lick me Cam, lick me, suck me and then fuck me, I want you.”
“I can smell you Kitten, I can smell how much you want me. I’m going to taste you now.”
He winks as he pushes me back on the bed and buries his face between me legs. He pushes his tongue inside me and I moan, but that’s nothing compared to the noise I make when he flicks his tongue over my clit and pushes two fingers inside me, I buck into his mouth. “Fuck Cam!”
He looks up at me from between my legs, his stubble is wet and glistening with me and I don’t feel the least bit embarrassed about it, “I want you to come in my mouth Kitten, I want to feel you tighten around my fingers and I want to feel your clit throb while you come all over my face.” Fuck me!
“Are you ready for this Kitten? Coz I’m about to spin your world off its axis.”
Well hell! I fell off the couch at this point. My girls were hyena laughing at me.
Georgia and Cam gets into a little tiff and Georgia runs to her brother's and best friend's home. Georgia's banging on the door and.... literally when one door closes another opens. Georgia falls straight into the arms of Sean. Her first and only love.
“I love you Georgia Rae, show us your tits.” “Do you know how long I have waited to have you pressed up against me, how long I have wanted to bury my face into your neck and just breathe you in?” “Do you, do you know Gia?”
“I wanted to die; I’ve wanted to die, every fucking day since. Every day, I’ve thought about it, dying, instead of living with this pain.”
“I just wanted a chance G, just one fucking chance to explain, to say sorry, to tell ya, that, it’s you, it’s always been you, it will, only, ever, be you.”
“I have been without you for four fuckin’ years. I’ll never be without you again;”
“There’s no one else. There never was. It’s still only ever you.”
“Sean and Georgia, they’ll never break us again.”
“I love you Georgia Rae Layton, so fuckin’ much, I’m gonna give you the world, the whole fuckin’ world but first, first G, I’m gonna kiss ya.”

“Georgia Rae, when we made love you used to cry…” “I said I love you like the stars above, I’ll love you till I die.”
I was gifted Carnage by a girlfriend of mine, and I didn't get around to reading it until I started on Goodreads a few short weeks ago. Yes, yes, berate me all you want, I'll take it. Because I was doing it to myself also. Carnage was read late into the night and straight into the wee hours of the morning. My husband and girls found me curled up on the couch from the night before reading this book. I was crying and had this distraught and solemn look on my face. My girls started crying. They wanted to know why mommy is crying. This is what I told my girls" Babies, tears aren't just for sadness, it's for happiness also."  Of course, as much as I was sad, I believe a love as fierce as Gia and Sean's never dies. I'm a firm believer of true love and all it takes to get there.

Carnage is one of those rare books that constantly keeps you gravitating towards even after its finished reading. This is a must read and highly recommended book. The Best for 2014. Lesley Jones you are an amazing writer and your portrayal of all their stories, was utterly heart breaking, traumatizing, awe inspiring, at such fierce and undying love- family, friends, and lovers.
I cannot help and shed a few tears. Because as much as it is over,  my heart breaks not only for Gia and Sean's short life, but for lost love and with the hope of second chances. On to book 2 as soon as it hits the selves.
