The sound of feet running up the steps made my pulse
quicken. Once Mia reached the top, the light from the Forum captured her
gorgeous face. The sight stole my next breath. She gazed around a few times
before her shoulders sagged. She walked to the edge of balcony, rested her
elbows on it, and muttered several choice words that made me bite my lip so I
wouldn’t laugh.
I approached her from behind and seductively whispered, “Did
you miss me?”
Mia whipped around and jumped into my arms. I held her
tightly, buried my head into her neck, and gave her light kisses until she was
moaning. I flashed my dimples while setting her down for a proper kiss. My head
rested against hers as I took her mouth fiercely into mine.
